The National Health Authority (NHA) will host India's inaugural Digital Health Expo in New Delhi. This event forms a key part of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). This expo will coincide with the annual anniversary of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, celebrated as “Arogya Manthan”.
The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), launched in 2021 by India's NHA, aims to build a national digital health ecosystem. Key components include ABHA numbers, HPR, HFR, UHI, and a consent framework, enhancing healthcare access, efficiency, and innovation, with over 50 crore ABHA IDs issued by mid-2024. As of 12 August 2025, more than 800 million ABHA IDs have been created, over 650 million health records linked, and upwards of 420,000 health facilities along with 680,000 healthcare professionals are registered in the national registries.
The expo will take place at Pragati Maidan. It aims to bring together diverse stakeholders in the digital healthcare ecosystem. Participants will include healthcare providers, technology companies, startups, government agencies, investors, and academia.
Organizers state the expo will showcase the latest innovations and solutions driving digital health transformation in India. Exhibitors will display technologies related to telemedicine, electronic health records, health analytics, AI applications, and wearable devices. The event specifically focuses on technologies compatible with the ABDM framework, such as platforms integrating with Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) IDs and the Unified Health Interface (UHI).
Over 200 digital health companies and government initiatives are expected to participate, making it a showcase not just of usage but of India’s role as a global innovator in digital healthcare.
The two-day schedule features an exhibition, a conference with expert discussions, and dedicated business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) meeting zones. These sessions aim to facilitate partnerships and knowledge exchange between innovators, healthcare providers, and policymakers. International participation is also anticipated.
According to MediBuddy’s co-founder and CEO, Satish Kannan, the expo’s focus on AI and digital health innovations closely aligns with efforts to use clinical AI and data-driven tools for delivering personalized healthcare on a large scale, he told Mint.
