3.  Kannada Language Quota: Applicable to students from border regions with Kannada, Tulu, or Kodava as the mother tongue (requires passing a Kannada Language Test).

4.  Kannada Medium Quota: For candidates who completed 10 years of education in Kannada medium.

5.  Additional category: Those children of Karnataka-based central/state government staff/defence personnel/MPs/CAPF employees posted in Karnataka.
