Hello Prashant Mishra, Welcome to Medbound Times. Please tell us something about your professional life.
My name is Prashant Mishra, and I live in Delhi. I am currently pursuing my B. Pharma from Jaganath University, which is located in Bahadurgarh, Haryana. I am currently in my first year.
What’s the best part of your profession? What made you choose this profession?
Health awareness and the pharmaceutical society seem to offer a big opportunity for me, especially in the field of drugs and marketing. The best part of my profession is the opportunity to become a pharmacist and contribute to improving the health of society. I chose this profession because I want to interact with patients and help them.
Tell us some more about your college.
Jaganath University is a comprehensive institution that provides a different range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. My college campus is quite large, and the teachers here are very supportive and helpful. Every festival and occasion in our college is celebrated with great enthusiasm and is well organized. Recently, we had our fresher's party, which was a lot of fun and enjoyable.
What about the practicals? Are they conducted regularly?
Yes, they are conducted regularly. We are given the opportunity to conduct various experiments in our pharmacy lab. Most of the required chemicals are available, making the process enjoyable. Working on experiments in the pharmacy lab is very interesting, and currently, we are learning to prepare serums, which is fascinating.
Any message for your junior?
I would like to send a message to all the junior pharmacists. Let's perform our duties as pharmacists diligently and raise awareness among people about diseases and disease prevention. Let's do our work honestly and with integrity, following all the rules and regulations. Along with our studies, let's also enjoy life to the fullest.
