I am currently the Chief Dental Surgeon at Punnekottayil Multi-speciality Dental Clinic, Oonnukal, Kothamangalam, Ernakulam Kerala.
What prompted you to choose this profession?
Career independence, since I am working in my own clinic.
What is the best part about being a dental student/professional?
The best part is alleviating pain of the patients.
How do you like spending your free time?
Restorative dentistry, because I have a passion for cosmetic dentistry.
Which is your favorite subject in dentistry and why?
Community dentistry.
What are some studying tips you use to retain and understand things better?
Always be updated and invest in education, as the dental field is growing day by day.
Which dental procedure(s) you enjoy/anticipate doing the most?
Cosmetic procedures.
What do you enjoy more, doing an RCT or extracting teeth?
I find extractions more interesting.

Work-life balance.

Most of my friends describe me as a reliable person.
What has been the best/most memorable moment in your dental school so far?
I think the most memorable days were the days of my hostel life.
Has dentistry impacted your food choices? Like, do you consume less sugary and sticky food items?
Yes, of course. I try to brush after eating sugary and sticky foods.
As a dental health professional, what is your dental health care regime?
Brush twice daily and use mouthwash after brushing.
If given a choice, what alternate career would you have opted for?
Business Entrepreneur.
Where would you like to work in the future?
I like to be in my home country. I want to keep working in my clinic.
What is your dream travel destination?
Switzerland.
