What prompted you to choose this profession?
A: I wanted to get into the healthcare sector to help people and serve in public health.
What is the best part about being a dental student/professional?
There are always new things to learn when you are practicing in healthcare.
How do you like spending your free time?
I like watching movies on Netflix.
Which is your favorite subject in dentistry and why?
Pediatric Dentistry. It is rewarding to deal with innocent kids.
Which is your least favorite subject in dentistry?
Public Health Dentistry. The statistics and epidemiology are beyond me.
What are some studying tips you use to retain and understand things better?
Writing down points and making notes is my way of making things simpler while studying.
Which dental procedure(s) do you enjoy/anticipate doing the most?
I like doing extractions.
What are some challenges you face in your professional field?
Uncooperative patients are the main issue in dentistry, as many don't understand the importance of preserving dentition.
How would your friends describe you?
They would call me friendly and cheerful.
What has been the best/most memorable moment in your dental school so far?
A few postings were quite memorable. As interns we had fun in some departments.
Has dentistry impacted your food choices? Like, do you consume less sugary and sticky food items?
Yes, definitely.
As a dental health professional, what is your dental health care regime?
Brush twice a day and floss at night.
If given a choice, what alternate career would you have opted for?
I might have become a Chef. My culinary skills are not so bad.
Where would you like to work in the future?
I would like to move abroad.

Cooking. Like I said, my culinary skills are good.

Teaching is not something I can do.
