IIM Bodh Gaya has entered into a strategic collaboration with PSI India through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance the public health sector. The agreement aims to strengthen the institute’s two-year full-time MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management (MBA-HHM) programme. Designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry, this programme encompasses diverse areas such as corporate hospitals, public health, pharmaceuticals, digital health, health insurance, and healthcare consulting.

As part of this partnership, PSI India will contribute significantly to the academic enrichment of the MBA-HHM curriculum. Subject matter experts from the organization will deliver lectures on various relevant topics, equipping students with practical knowledge and insights. Furthermore, PSI India will facilitate opportunities for community immersion, internships, and final placements, ensuring holistic professional development for the participants.

The MBA-HHM programme at IIM Bodh Gaya stands out with its distinctive four-month summer internship. This extended duration provides students with in-depth exposure to the real-world healthcare environment, enabling them to gain valuable hands-on experience. The partnership is expected to bolster the programme’s industry relevance and establish it as a leader in healthcare education.

Dr. Vinita Sahay, Director of IIM Bodh Gaya, and Mukesh Kumar Sinha, Executive Director of PSI India, emphasized the strategic importance of the collaboration. They highlighted the MoU’s potential to foster academic excellence while driving meaningful social impact. By aligning educational objectives with the broader goals of public health, the partnership aims to produce professionals capable of addressing critical healthcare challenges.

Additionally, the collaboration encompasses joint research initiatives and knowledge-sharing events, including round table discussions, seminars, workshops, and conferences. These activities are expected to facilitate innovation, foster dialogue, and address pressing issues in the public health domain.
