A man in Indore, Madhya Pradesh was arrested by the police for trying to inject infected blood into a woman to take revenge. The police arrested the man and his friend on Friday.

The man named Sanjay tried to inject the infected blood of a beggar into a woman who rejected his proposal. However, the woman escaped and lodged a police complaint.

Sanjay proposed to the woman but she rejected him. Sanjay demanded her to marry him and started harassing her. The woman filed a police complaint. He decided to take revenge on the woman.  He watched the Tamil movie ‘I’, where the actor was injected with the virus. Inspired by this, with the help of his friend Kishore he collected blood from an infected beggar, who was sleeping.

The police arrested Sanjay and his friend Kishore based on the complaint of the woman. Sanjay told the police that he was inspired by the Tamil movie ‘I’.

The police said that Sanjay is a hardened criminal and there were 11 cases reported against him. The police confiscated the syringe from the accused. The police said that the blood sample in the syringe is sent for testing and further action will be taken against the accused after the test results.
