The results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Super Specialty (NEET-SS) 2024 have been officially released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), based in New Delhi. Conducted on March 29 and 30, 2025, this examination determines admissions into DM, MCh, and DrNB super-speciality programs offered at various institutions across India.
According to the official announcement, all candidates who secured a score at or above the 50th percentile in their respective speciality groups have been deemed qualified. While currently available on the official NBEMS website (https://natboard.edu.in), individual scorecards will become available for download from May 2, 2025 onwards.
Cut-off marks differed considerably between various subject streams. The Respiratory Medicine group took the lead with the highest cut-off score of 365, which also made it the most competitive stream for this year. Ranked closely were the Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) and ENT groups with cut-offs of 354 and 350, respectively. The lowest cut-off was the Orthopedics group with a score of 254, representative of the difference in performance of candidates by subjects.
In keeping with its transparency and precision commitment, NBEMS conducted a comprehensive post-exam review of all NEET-SS 2024 question papers. Experts in the relevant subjects reviewed every question carefully to verify both technical accuracy and correctness of the related answer keys. Where any of the questions were found to be technically incorrect, full marks were credited to all the examinees on such questions, regardless of whether they attempted them or not.
This post-exam policy guarantees equity in the assessment process and maintains the integrity of the examination. In case of further help or clarification, candidates can contact NBEMS by phone at 011-45593000 or through their official communication platform at https://exam.natboard.edu.in/communication.php?page=main.
