A businessman was found dead in a lodge with foaming near his mouth in Delhi's Safdurjung Enclave a week ago.

Police have finally cracked the case and arrested a 29-year-old woman in connection to the case. Usha, who went by several aliases like Nikita, Nikki, and Anjali, is a resident of Panipat in Haryana. She was part of a gang that lured people and then looted them.

She did the same with the businessman Deepak Sethi. Usha met Sethi near a metro station at Connaught Place. Sethi checked in Usha in the lodge at 9:30 pm on March 30. However, Usha left the lodge at 12:24 am with ₹1,100 and some jewellery. Police suspect that Sethi passed away due to a drug overdose.

The police found the suspect's number in the victim's contact details. The number was issued using fake documents on March 20. The number was recharged from an area called Santgarh on March 23. After reaching the location, the police discovered that it was recharged by a Nigerian national named Chide.

Usha was then arrested from Noida. Usha was in jail for a case registered in Panipat in 2022

Chide told the police that the number belonged to Nikki, a friend of his live-in partner Madhumita. Usha was then arrested from Noida. Usha was in jail for a case registered in Panipat in 2022, where she became friends with Madhumita. It was Madhumita who introduced Deepak Sethi to Usha.

Usha told the police that she did not intend to kill Sethi. She even left a sorry note near the dead body. She had written that she was "extremely sorry" and that she was in a lot of compulsion that made her do this.
