Robbers Kill Dr. Paul with a Throat Slit and Legs Tied at his Delhi Home

63-year-old Dr. Yogesh Chander Paul was allegedly killed by robbers in his home in Delhi's Jangpura area of the southeast on 10 May.

The police suspected that three or four were involved in this murder. The doctor was identified as Dr. Yogesh Chander Paul, who had a private clinic in Jangpura. He was found dead in his home, with throat slit and legs tied.

A PCR call was received at 6:50 p.m., at Hazrat Nizamuddin police station and police rushed to the spot on the first floor of C-14 of a residential building in Jangpura. Local Police found Dr. Paul dead in the kitchen of his house. "His hands were tied and suspected to be smothered to death," a senior police officer said.

Prima facie, it appears that the accused persons robbed the house and brought fatality to Dr. Paul

For further investigation forensic team along with the crime team called. "There are also signs of robbery as rooms have been ransacked. Prima facie, it appears that the accused persons robbed the house and brought fatality to Dr. Paul," another police officer added.

Dr. Paul's wife, Neena was not at home when this incident happened. Neena Paul is also a doctor in a Delhi government hospital. The couple's pet dogs were found locked in the other room.

Further investigation is underway.
