Woman Loses Forearms in Explosion Caused by Ex-Lover's Hair Dryer Revenge Plot

A tragic incident occurred in Ilkal, Karnataka, where a 37-year-old woman, Basavarajeswari Yarnal, suffered severe injuries in a hair dryer explosion. The blast was so powerful that it severed both her forearms, leaving her with life-altering injuries.

The investigation into the hair dryer explosion that severely injured Basavarajeswari Yarnal has taken a dramatic turn. Initially, police suspected an electrical short circuit as the cause of the blast. However, further investigation revealed that the explosion was a deliberate act of revenge orchestrated by Siddappa, a man who was in a relationship with Basavarajeswari.

The incident took place on November 15, when Basavarajeswari received a parcel containing a hair dryer meant for her neighbor, Shashikala. When she connected the device to a power source, it exploded, causing her severe injuries. Shashikala, who was out of town at the time, denied ordering the hair dryer

However, things took a turn when Basavarajeswari introduced Siddappa to her friend and neighbor, Shashikala. Once Shashikala discovered the affair, she advised Basavarajeswari to end the relationship, which she did. This rejection enraged Siddappa, who then plotted to eliminate Shashikala.

Basavarajeswari's tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the community, with neighbors describing the scene as devastating. Local authorities have pledged to ensure the victim receives proper medical care and justice.

They are also looking into the possibility of a deliberate attempt to harm Basavarajeswari. Using his experience working at a granite company for 16 years, Siddappa purchased a hair dryer and rigged it with a detonator, commonly used in quarry blasting. He then sent the lethal device to Shashikala's address via courier. However, in a shocking twist, the hair dryer exploded when Basavarajeswari plugged it in, causing her severe injuries.
