Queens, USA: A 72-year-old doctor was arrested on October 27, 2026, by the NYPD Special Victims Squad. Dr. Yusuf was arrested in connection with multiple charges of sexual abuse.
Dr. Yusuf practiced as a pediatrician in Queens, New York.
According to the reports, he was accused of sexually abusing two of his own patients, a 15-year-old girl and a 20-year-old woman.
The criminal complaint filed in Queens Criminal Court accused 72-year-old Dr. Fazul Yusuf of endangering the welfare of a child, along with two counts each of forcible touching, third-degree sexual abuse, and second-degree harassment.
According to the reports, on October 20, Dr. Yusuf was seeing patients in the medical clinic that he operates at his own house at 57-07 146th St. in Flushing. The same afternoon, he allegedly sexually abused a 20-year-old female patient by putting his hand in her shirt and underneath her bra; he then proceeded to rub his hand on her breasts without her consent and said, “You’re beautiful, why don’t you work for me?”
At 5:30 pm on the same day, he was seeing another patient, a 15-year-old girl. Dr. Yusuf allegedly grabbed her thighs and then grabbed her breasts without her consent and stated, “You’re beautiful, why don’t you work for me?"
According to the reports, Yusuf pleaded not guilty to the charges during arraignment at the Queens Criminal Court.
Judge Indira Khan issued a temporary order of protection and set bail at $10,000 cash, a $30,000 insurance company bond, and a $30,000 partially secured surety bond.
The Special Victims Squad continues to investigate the case, and the NYPD urges other victims to call the Sex Crimes Hotline.

According to the reports, following the hearing, he posted his $10,000 cash bail and was subsequently released from custody.
