Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College and Hospital stands as an academic health sciences center with a clear and ambitious vision to deliver leadership and excellence in teaching, clinical care, and service within a student-centered, comprehensive campus.
Since its inception, the college has steadily grown into one of the most sought-after medical institutions in the country. Its reputation does not rest on infrastructure alone, but on the generations of doctors who have walked its corridors and carried forward its legacy of excellence.
The institution continues to evolve with time while retaining its unique character. It actively upgrades itself across academic, clinical, and infrastructural domains, ensuring that students receive both strong foundational training and exposure to modern medical advancements.
Recognized for its merit, the college ranks among the top 10 medical colleges in India based on cut-off trends. It also holds the distinction of being the largest medical college-cum-hospital in North Delhi, making it a major hub for both education and patient care.
