Noteless Raises €3.5 Million To Cut Paperwork And Reduce Doctor Burnout

AI Tool That Gives Doctors Two Hours Back Each Day.

Norwegian healthtech startup Noteless has raised €3.5 million in seed funding to expand its AI powered clinical documentation platform across Europe. The company aims to tackle a growing crisis in healthcare. Doctors everywhere are overwhelmed by administrative work that eats into patient time and increases the risk of burnout. Noteless promises to give clinicians back precious hours each day by automating notes in real time.

A Solution To A Worsening Burnout Problem

Across Europe, doctors spend a large share of their working hours typing up notes after every consultation. Many clinicians say the paperwork feels endless and often follows them home at night. This administrative overload is one of the biggest contributors to emotional exhaustion and frustration in the medical profession.

Noteless wants to break this cycle by removing the burden of manual documentation. According to the company, clinicians who use the platform save up to two hours daily because the AI listens to consultations and creates clean, structured notes instantly. These time savings allow doctors to see more patients, focus fully during appointments and end their workday on time.

How The Noteless AI Works

Noteless uses real time speech recognition and natural language processing to convert doctor patient conversations into accurate medical notes. The platform is designed to work in real clinical settings and supports multiple European languages. It also meets regional data protection and compliance standards, which makes it suitable for general practitioners, specialists, physiotherapists, psychologists and other healthcare professionals.

The AI automatically identifies key medical information, organises it into the correct fields and produces documentation that doctors can review quickly. This eliminates the need for clinicians to type or dictate notes manually.

Rapid Growth In Less Than Two Years

Noteless was founded in October 2023 by William Vossgard, Mikkel Slettebo and Sarankan Sivakanesan. The team launched the product in mid 2024 and has seen remarkable adoption across Europe. The platform now supports approximately 3,000 clinicians in Norway, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Every week it processes more than 100,000 patient consultations.

In the Nordic region, the growth has been especially strong. More than one in four general practitioners in Norway and one in seven in Denmark already use Noteless as part of their daily workflow.

Funding To Accelerate Expansion

The new €3.5 million investment will help Noteless scale its technology and expand into more European markets. The company plans to deepen the capabilities of its AI system and build additional tools that support clinicians beyond documentation. Investors say Noteless is addressing one of the most pressing inefficiencies in healthcare today. They also note that its rapid adoption shows a strong need for practical AI tools that save time and reduce burnout.
