A short video of a doctor in China telling a patient he would “give her a younger heart” has gone viral online, triggering widespread outrage and renewed public fears about organ harvesting. The clip, spoken in Cantonese, has intensified anxiety around the country’s transplant system and has also been linked by online users to growing reports of missing children and teenagers.

Doctor’s Comment Goes Viral and Alarms Viewers

In the video, the doctor speaks with a patient and her family about a heart transplant. When the family asks about the cost, the doctor estimates the total expense at around 300,000 yuan. He also says the patient’s out of pocket cost after reimbursement could be a little over 100,000 yuan.

The moment that sparked the strongest reaction came when the doctor smiled and told the patient, “If all goes well, I’ll give you a younger heart.”

That single line quickly set off a wave of angry and fearful responses online. Many people questioned what the doctor meant and where such a “young heart” would come from.

Online Reactions Show Deep Public Distrust

As the clip spread, commenters responded with shock and suspicion. Some asked directly where a younger heart could be sourced. Others accused the doctor of speaking casually about something terrifying. Several people also claimed that the statement sounded like the hospital already had a target and was preparing to obtain an organ by force.

Many reactions reflected a broader fear that vulnerable people, especially teenagers, could be at risk.

Missing Children Reports Add to Public Anxiety

The viral video surfaced alongside a wave of public concern about missing children and teens reported across multiple provinces in China. Online users began connecting the doctor’s comment to these disappearances, even though no official confirmation has linked the cases to organ harvesting.

As per the reports by Vision Times mentioned include a 13 year old boy in Henan who reportedly went missing on his way to school and was later found dead, with claims that his corneas and kidneys were missing. The same reporting also referenced several teenagers reported missing in provinces including Henan, Shandong, Anhui, Sichuan, Guizhou, and Liaoning.

Blood Draw Incident at School Raises More Questions

The public unease has also been fueled by reports involving children and medical testing. One case mentioned a primary school in Guangzhou where students had blood drawn during a health check without parents being informed in advance.

Parents reportedly expressed anger and concern. The school later said the blood draw was part of a district wide health examination and apologized for poor communication.
