Mumbai, December 2, 2025: A 51-year-old businesswoman has filed a complaint against Joy John Pascal Post, Managing Director and founder member of Franco-Indian Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. (FIPPL), alleging that he forced her to disrobe at gunpoint, physically assaulted her, and threatened to release her images and videos online if she reported the incident.
A case has been lodged at the NM Joshi Marg Police Station under various sections including 354A, 354B, 326, 509, and 506, along with relevant provisions of the IT Act.
These charges pertain to sexual harassment, criminal force to disrobe, grievous hurt, outraging modesty, criminal intimidation, and digital content misuse. Mumbai Police have initiated an investigation into the allegations.

As per the complaint registered at NM Joshi Marg Police Station, the incident purportedly occurred on January 18, 2023, during the hours of 11:30 am to 1 pm.
The victim, who operates a business dealing in photo frames and gifts, stated she was summoned to the firm's office situated on the second floor of a building on Dr E Moses Road in Mahalaxmi by one of the defendants.
After arriving at the location, she claimed that an individual present in the office hit her shoulder and back area using a revolver's handle. Inside a cabin, the main defendant allegedly took off her burkha before pointing the firearm at her head and compelling her to undress.
She reported being photographed and recorded on video while wearing only undergarments, with warnings that the content would be distributed on the internet unless she followed his instructions.
The complaint additionally states that she was pressured into giving a fabricated statement and cautioned that refusal would result in her being implicated in a false criminal case and imprisoned.
She has also alleged that a different official from the company had earlier lodged a baseless complaint against her, which led to significant mental emotional distress.
Authorities have verified that a thorough examination is in progress, with subsequent steps to be taken depending on what the investigation reveals.
In a separate incident that came to light on November 29 in Kolkata, a woman reported being forcibly taken into a vehicle, made to drink alcohol, and sexually violated by multiple men.
At approximately 9 pm, the victim was awaiting an application-booked taxi when a vehicle pulled up carrying three individuals, one of whom was someone she had been in contact with for three months. The group reportedly dragged her into the car and forced her to consume liquor believed to have been adulterated with drugs before assaulting her.
She was subsequently left in the Maidan locality, following which the vehicle escaped. The victim was later found and transported to SSKM Hospital for medical attention. Law enforcement has commenced an investigation, with operations underway to capture those responsible.
