A tragic road accident occurred on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, resulting in the deaths of four doctors and a technician. The accident took place near the Saifai area of Etawah district in Uttar Pradesh.
According to reports, the doctors were traveling in a car when it crashed into a divider on the expressway. The car then collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction. The impact of the collision was severe, causing significant damage to the car.
The deceased doctors were identified as Dr Anirudh Verma (29) from Agra; Dr Santosh Kumar Maurya (46) from Bhadohi; Dr Arun Kumar (34) from Kannauj; and Dr Nardev (35) from Bareilly along with laboratory technician Rakesh Kumar (38).
The vehicle subsequently crossed into the oncoming lane, where it collided with a truck. As a result, the four doctors and one lab technician died on the spot. One additional person, a PG student, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Medical College in Tirwa.Officer
The police reported that the accident occurred due to the car's high speed and the driver's loss of control. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter further.
