Everyone has a dream and a passion, but sometimes we are on a different path. But we achieve our dreams when we put our hearts into them. Aditi Shankar, daughter of renowned director Shankar, shared a post on the social media platform Instagram in doctor’s attire, looking like she was ready to perform surgery, and wrote” Dr. A” in her handle. The post received varied responses through comments, as she was an actress earlier.

Aditi Shankar is well known for her successful films. She made her debut with Hero Karti in the movie ‘Viruman’ and also acted in a pair with Hero Sivakartikeyan in the superhero movie ‘Maveeran’. Both films are box office successes. But before she became an actress, she had a medical degree. She completed her medicine in December 2021. And she shared pictures from her convocation ceremony on her Instagram handle and wrote, “Here’s to all the fun memories, late nights, and mugs of coffee that got me here, officially, Dr. Aditi Shankar”. However, she gave her entry into the film industry as it is her passion. The results are welcomed with huge success.

Aditi’s post raises many questions about whether her new attire is for upcoming movies or if she has ended her career in the film industry to pursue a new profession as a doctor. The comments after her post include: 'New movie character, Ah, Dr. Aditi Balaji, Doctor Aditi. Enaku heavy fever entha hospital la irukinga,' and some suggest, 'Please continue to work as a doctor and avoid cinema.'

Apart from her roles as an actress and her degree, she is known for her playback singing. She debuted as a playback singer for the Telugu movie Ghani with the song ‘Romeo and Juliet’. Currently, she is acting in an untitled film directed by Vishnuvardhan, playing a leading role paired with Akash Murali, and also working in a new film directed by ’Ratsasan’ Ramkumar.
