Bengal: 60-Year-Old Gets Arrested for Raping Pet Dog for Two Years

A disturbing case has emerged from West Bengal as a 60-year-old man was arrested for raping his pet dog for two years. The incident took place in the Chouhati Payarabagan area on March 30.

The accused, Ratikant Sardar, got away with this heinous crime for the past two years. However, he was caught red-handed when neighbors caught him doing the act on camera. Sardar was under the influence of alcohol as well while doing the act.

According to reports, he was repeatedly asked to stop doing such acts and release the dog, but he never listened. He was left with no option after the video went viral on social media.

The founder of the Kolkata Animal Welfare Foundation filed an FIR under Section 377 (voluntarily having carnal intercourse against the law of nature) and 11 of the Animal Cruelty Act.

The dog was sent to the veterinary hospital for examination. The examination confirmed sexual abuse.
