A doctor was allegedly assaulted by three cops for not giving them fake certificates for sick leaves.
According to the reports, Dr. Vishnukant was posted at the Debri sub-divisional hospital. Three police officers approached the hospital to ask Dr. Vishnukant for fake medical certificates. However, when denied, the three police officers locked the door and brutally trashed him. The doctor was rescued by the hospital staff.
The secretary of the Bihar Health Service Association secretary formally asked the Bihar Special Armed Police battalion and the district police to take action against these three police officers. According to the reports, a complaint was lodged right after the incident but there was no action taken.
The three police officers were identified as Amrendra Kumar, Abhimanyu Kumar, and Jitendra Kumar.
