Brazil: Doctors Leave Scissors Inside Politicians' Stomach and Remove it After 6 Days!

A shocking case of medical negligence has surfaced in Brazil. A surgeon accidentally left scissors in a patient's stomach.

The incident happened with a local politician Cleyton Jose Zanatta. Zanatta serves as a councilman representing the Nova Santa Helena municipality in the state of Mato Grosso's central-western region. He underwent a tumor removal procedure on January 20.

The surgery went well, but the politician felt something was wrong. He fell ill six days after the operation. A CT scan was performed to reveal that there were a huge pair of scissors inside his intestines.

The Brazilian politician had to undergo another surgery on January 26. According to the reports, Zanatta is now stable and is doing well.
