Doctor "Cuts" Newborn's Genitalia During Delivery; Family Demands Justice

The family members of the newborn protested in front of Chigateri District Hospital, calling for the doctor to be held accountable

After the baby in Karnataka's Davanagre district passed away from his injuries today, the family staged a demonstration and demanded that the negligent doctor be held accountable. The baby's genitals were allegedly sliced during the Caesarean delivery.

In an attempt to hold the doctor accountable, the child's relatives staged a protest outside Chigateri District Hospital.

Amrutha was admitted to the district hospital on June 17th to prepare for her delivery. The doctor chose to undergo a C-section because she was not able to give birth normally.

Amrutha and her husband Arjun claimed that during the mother's surgery, Dr. Nijamuddin allegedly sliced the baby's genitalia.

The baby was taken to a private hospital as his condition worsened, where he passed away. The parents claimed that medical negligence was the reason for their newborn's death.
