A video of a government doctor snapping at a home guard went viral. In that video, a home guard seeking favor for an injured patient at Chhatarpur District Hospital surfaced on Thursday. The video shows the doctor losing his cool at the home guard and saying in Hindi, do kaudi ka guard, mujhse behes kar raha.

The incident is said to have occurred on February 12 when a person injured in a road accident was sent to the District Hospital for a CT scan and X-ray after receiving first aid from Barigarh Hospital. The injured have been identified as guest teacher Nilesh Dixit. The home guard who was posted at Jujharnagar police station was known to the injured person and thus made a recommendation for him. Although Dr. Arunendra Shukla got infuriated over this request.

The home guard tried to convince the doctor, but the doctor said that he was not afraid of any collector. Dr. Shukla said that if he threatens him in the name of the collector, he will make him dance. He is not afraid of any collector.

Further, Dr. Shukla warned the home guard against entering the hospital premises after consuming gutka. When the home guard said that he was just making a request, the doctor replied, “You don’t make requests; you use sticks (Nivedan nahi dhanda karte ho tum). You who are sold for Rs. 2,000, do not talk nonsense to me.”

After this, the doctor's anger rose to such an extent that he even threw away the papers of the injured person towards the home guard. Now, the video of the entire matter is going viral on social media.

In this incident, Dr. Lakhan Tiwari, Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO), said that Dr. Arunendra Shukla would be told to use such language.
