Indonesian Health Ministry Director Appreciates Indian Hospitals

The director of the health ministry of Indonesia, Mr. Sugiyanto, visited Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.

India officially took over the presidency of G20 in 2023. Healthcare has always been a priority area for G20 since 2017. India has an opportunity to set an agenda for healthcare, and the goal seems to be on the right track.

Recently, the sixth edition of 'Advantage Healthcare India' took place in Delhi. The event aimed to promote 'Medical Value Travel' in India. Health ministers from ten countries were in attendance at the event.

The director of the health ministry of Indonesia, Mr. Sugiyanto, visited Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. Mr. Sugiyanto had nothing but good words. He said that he will recommend Indian hospitals to his friends in Indonesia.

Mr. Sugiyanto called Indian hospitals to be 'sophisticated'. He called appreciated the 'talented' doctors and equipment. He was also impressed by the range of specialties provided by the Indian hospitals. Mr. Sugiyanto concluded by saying that he could like Indian doctors to come to Indonesia for training purposes.

G20 is a group that includes 19 countries and the European Nation. They deal with important issues like healthcare, the economy, sustainable development, etc.
