Russia invaded Ukraine as an escalation of the Russia-Ukrainian War on 24 February 2022. The invasion also life-threatening injuries to many Ukrainian soldiers. Doctors say around 17% of injured Ukrainian soldiers require high-tech technology for treatment and solutions.

NODUS Rehabilitation Centre in Kyiv is using technology to treat wounded Ukrainian soldiers. The centre has been providing cutting-edge care in areas like Kinesiotherapy and Robotics.

It was founded by a group of military physicians in 2014. The centre is funded by government and private donations. The primary goal is to treat soldiers with severe injuries so that they can be physically active again and return to normal lives.

Dr. Oleksandr Kulyk, the lead neurosurgeon of the centre, says that they have treated more than 12000 soldiers since 2014.

The clinic also provides psychological care. The psychologist says that it is critical that they don't erase the soldiers' experiences but help them to come to terms with the trauma. This will help them to recover and be ready to overcome future obstacles.
