Two Bihar Men Arrested for Forging Nursing Certificates

The Mylapore Police arrested two men from Bihar under the pretext of submitting fake documents to enroll in the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council

A few weeks back, the Mylapore Police arrested two men from Bihar under the pretext of submitting fake documents to enroll in the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council.

According to the police officers, the duo came to the Council on Tuesday, June 18th. The suspects have been identified as Sambu Kumar, 38, and Vijayendra Kumar, 29, hailing from Bihar. They showcased education certificates and documents of their spouses and claimed that they had completed their Nursing degree from Bihar and wanted to enroll in the Council. Upon verification of the certificates and mark sheets, the staff of the Council found that the documents were forged.

The staff of the Council lodged a complaint with the Police. They arrested both the men and seized the fake documents from them. Additionally, the police said that they wanted to enroll in the Council so that their spouses could get jobs under the all-India quota. Police have also launched a search for their wives.

 Similar incident took place in Chidambaram, Cuddalore district where 2 men were found with around 100 fake university certificates.
