UP Doctor and Her Husband Assaulted by Her Ex-Boyfriend

According to the police, a doctor woman and her husband were allegedly molested by her former boyfriend and his troops near the Samata Mulak intersection in Gomti Nagar.

Lucknow: According to the police, a woman doctor was allegedly molested by her former boyfriend and his accomplices near the Samata Mulak intersection in Gomti Nagar. When her husband intervened, they even beat him.

As stated by Ashish Srivastava, Deputy Commissioner of Police (East), the incident occurred as the couple was on their way home in their car. The victim had filed the complaint, and the Gomti Nagar police have registered a case under the relevant sections.

The victim stated in her complaint that Faiz Khan, a resident of Thakurganj, whom she knew before marriage, and his friend had overtaken her car near the Samta Mulak crossing.

The doctor told the police that her ex-boyfriend started molesting her as soon as she got out of the car. When her husband protested, they assaulted him.

The DCP said that, according to the victim, she was being harassed by Faiz Khan even before marriage. After her marriage, Fiaz Khan stalked her and even sent her text messages on her phone.

The doctor said that she had lodged a complaint with 1090 too regarding the same, where the accused got counselling, but he did not improve.
