I have completed my internship with MedBound Times, and I am pleased to say it was one of the most informative experiences I have had. The mentors were very supportive, helped me with the basics, and introduced me to a vast array of knowledge related to medical content.
Even the basics, such as grammar and how to create unique content, were covered. Himani Negi was always available to troubleshoot and personally responded to all my queries. We were taught how to use search engine optimization effectively, modify various tools, and find appropriate images. We started with Wires, moved on to Rehash, and finally learned how to write high-quality original articles.
Medical journalism is a dynamic field with a vast amount of diverse information. This internship provides the opportunity to learn various ways of covering stories. From Docscopy to engaging research articles, they assign tasks daily to ensure you gain substantial exposure. The mentors—Himani Negi, M Subha Maheswari, and Sai Sindhuja Kalaskar—are always available to help.
If you are interested in developing a career in medical writing or medical journalism, this is a great place to start. It offers ample opportunities to hone your writing skills and helps guide you in the right direction. I am grateful for this guidance and look forward to beginning my journey in this diverse field of medical writing.
