Sampath Priya Baandhavi’s Path to Proficiency in Medical Writing Through MedBound Times

How MedBound Times Shaped Sampath Priya Baandhavi’s Skills in Medical Journalism

MBT Desk

Interning at MedBound Times was an exciting and fruitful journey for me. I gained hands-on experience in medical journalism, learning how to write engaging and informative articles that enhance readability. I knew very little about SEO, meta descriptions, keywords, ALT texts, attributions, and content organization & optimization, which I learned through this internship. Writing and publishing articles not only improved my writing but also taught me the importance of networking and professional engagement. It gave me the ability to adapt to different writing styles to make my work more professional. Reposting and sharing my work on LinkedIn allowed me to connect with industry professionals and receive valuable feedback.

Beyond writing and publishing, this internship at MedBound Times boosted my confidence in communicating complex medical concepts in a clear and engaging way. I still remember my first day—feeling nervous and unsure—but the support and encouragement from my mentors helped me grow immensely. Thanks to the team for providing one-on-one guidance for assessment. I am grateful for the learning, guidance, and opportunities that shaped my journey at MedBound Times. This internship has truly sparked a passion for medical writing, and I will always cherish the experience!
