Uzbekistan Relocating 2000 Indian Medicos from No Man's Land

Medical aspirants found joy in misery after Uzbekistan accepted the Indian government's request to relocate Indian medical students. Amidst the Ukraine war, 'Operation Ganga' evacuated Indians from war zone areas. After Russia Ukraine war extended, stranded Indian medical students were attending online medical classes from their homes.

Education had gone online since the war, but shelling hampered the internet lifeline. The anomalies of the internet and online lectures have made medical student's future as obscuring as the cloud of grenade smoke.

Uzbekistan manifested an act of care amid chaos by providing 2000 seats to Indian medical students in its medical colleges. Universities have accepted the Medical Council of India and National Medical Commission norms, which include screening test regulations 2002 and Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate - FMGL Regulations 2021.

Out of 2000 students, more than 200 students from the first year to the final year, have been given admission after scrutiny of their academic credentials. As per reports, medical education will be provided at an affordable budget along with study-and-stay-at-a-place with traditional Indian meals.

Universities have accepted the Medical Council of India and National Medical Commission norms, which include screening test regulations 2002 and Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate - FMGL Regulations 2021.

Uzbekistan Ambassador, Dilshod Akhatov, presented the provisional admission letters to the students who passed the interview session conducted by the Government Higher Medical Institutes of Uzbekistan.

To accommodate and prepare students for FMGE/ NEXT exam, the university has the infrastructure, teaching beds associated with government hospitals, and 30% Indian and international professors.

Ukraine is a popular medical education destination for Indian medical aspirants. Indian students won't find it difficult to cope since the academic system of Uzbekistan and Ukraine isn't different.
