I am currently working at SSMC Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, India.
How would you sum up your current assignment/job/institute/professional life?
My professional life is quite fulfilling. I perform a lot of surgeries and handle numerous patients in the OPD, which provides me with valuable hands-on experience and learning opportunities.
What are your areas of interest within your profession?
I am particularly interested in the subspecialties of orthopedics, specifically arthroplasty and arthroscopy.
What aspects of your profession fascinate you the most?
The fields of arthroplasty and arthroscopy fascinate me the most, as they involve intricate surgical techniques that can significantly improve a patient’s quality of life.
What made you choose teaching or mentoring as a profession?
I have a strong passion for making complex medical concepts easier for students to understand. My goal is to simplify learning and help students excel in their studies.
What would students be surprised to find out about you?
Students might be surprised to know that I single-handedly manage my residency while also dedicating time to teaching—without anyone's help.
Which three subjects do you enjoy the most?
My favorite subjects are Orthopedics, Biochemistry, and Pathology.
Which three subjects do you dislike the most?
I am not particularly fond of Psychiatry, Anesthesia, and ENT.
What are your fields of interest in research or clinical practice?
My primary area of research and clinical interest is arthroplasty.
What are your career goals or expectations?
I aspire to become one of the best teachers for NEET PG aspirants, helping students succeed in their medical entrance exams.
What would you be doing if not for the current profession?
If I weren’t a doctor, I would have pursued a career as a professional table tennis player.
What do you like to do in your leisure time?
In my free time, I enjoy playing table tennis and volleyball.
What is one hidden talent that you would like us to know?
Apart from being a doctor and mentor, I can also play the piano.
What change would you like to bring to the education sector?
I strongly believe that education should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or financial status.
What makes a 'good day' at work for you?
A successful fixation in the operation theater (OT) makes my day fulfilling and rewarding.
What current trends or practices in society baffle you?
I find it surprising that many people do not prioritize their health, despite knowing its importance.
Who do you idolize and why?
I deeply admire Swami Vivekananda for his wisdom, teachings, and contributions to self-improvement and spirituality.
What are some of your notable achievements or awards?
I successfully cracked NEET UG and NEET PG with a decent rank.
I completed my MBBS and MS from a government medical college in Madhya Pradesh.
I built a strong online presence, gaining around 100,000 followers on Instagram in just 10 months.
