I recently completed the Certificate Course in Medical Journalism, Writing, and Digital Media offered through MedBound NewsGram Academy, and the experience proved to be both enriching and professionally valuable. Designed as a hands-on training program, the course aims to help healthcare learners develop credible medical storytelling and digital communication skills while understanding the evolving landscape of online media. Over the duration of the program, it introduced practical elements of writing, editing, publishing, and optimizing health content, bridging the gap between clinical knowledge and public communication.

One of the most impactful aspects of the internship was its structured yet flexible learning environment. The curriculum covers multiple modules, from foundations of medical journalism to SEO, analytics, CMS operations, and responsible use of AI tools, ensuring exposure to both journalistic principles and digital publishing workflows. Participants are trained to write and publish health-related content, apply SEO strategies, operate CMS platforms, and interpret performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console.
