  1. What do you do?

I am a final-year MD student, currently doing my clinical rotations in Chicago (to finish MD in April 2023)

  2. What’s the best part of your profession? What made you choose this profession?

The best part is that every day you get to make a difference in someone's life. Be it a big or a small difference, that's the best joyful satisfaction you can get and make you feel worthwhile. And as for, what made me choose this profession is difficult to answer. I can't say that one single thing has influenced my choice. I have always had a love-hate relationship with my choice of this profession ( just like many other medical students I believe). I can go on about this topic with no proper end, so to put it simply what made me choose this profession, it's multifactorial.

  3. Do you like reading? What was the last thing you read?

I do like reading ( or rather did, since I haven't been able to complete a book in a while). I mostly enjoy reading fiction. The last book I have incompletely read ( still on it) is The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.

  4. What is your favorite dish?

    Anything with chicken in it.

  5. How would your friend describe you?
Depends on which friend you ask, I have different personalities for different friends. But most will say I am easygoing, weirdly funny, and "the go-to therapist" (I make a very good listener).

  6. Who would you like to travel with?

    Family, Friend(s),and Alone

  7. What are your least favorite subjects?

    Biochemistry

  8. Your favourite subject(s)

    Psychiatry

  9. What’s something you wish to change about the world?

I wish that everyone could accept people's flaws and learn to respect an opinion different from theirs. That being said, people with opinions shouldn't impose them on others.

  10. If your journey was/were a movie, what would it be called?

    Pursuit of Happiness

  11. What are you passionate about?

Learning new languages and experiencing different cultures.

  12. Best/memorable moment

Such questions always give me a memory block. I have been fortunate enough to have many memorable moments, I cannot account for one. Mostly it's whenever somebody appreciates my work or creativity.

  13. What do you love to do in your leisure time?

I watch South Korean reality shows. ( And TV/OTT series)

  14. What do you hate the most?

Dishonesty, and an obstinate person who won't budge even if they are in the wrong.

  15. If given a choice, what alternate career would you have opted for?

If asked this question a few years ago I would have said a fashion designer ( or something in the creative field) but now it's a café owner.

  16. What is your dream travel destination?

I want to visit a lot of Asian countries (mainly Japan, and South Korea...influenced by the shows I watch).

  17. Where would you like to work in future?

The place doesn't matter as long as I have people that I care about and those who care for me.

  18. Finally, a Quote you relate to.

"The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination" - Albert Einstein
