What do you do?
I am a senior research fellow at an ICMR lab, which is in part a diagnostic as well as a research lab. Our department works in the field of pediatric immunology, so we diagnose kids with primary immunodeficiency.
What’s the best part of your profession? What made you choose this profession?
Biology has always interested me, and I like to know why some things are present in nature or how they work pertaining to biology. I chose to work in the field of Immunology because it has a very apparent value in the field of healthcare. It's nice to see that the work scientists do is translated into clinically feasible solutions in the form of treatment, therapy, or diagnostic protocols that help patients. It's fulfilling and inspiring.
