  1. What do you do?

Currently, I hold the position of Senior Manager for Business Projects and Strategic Initiatives at Healthspring Family Health Experts (Wellspring Healthcare Pvt. Ltd), located in Mumbai. In this role, my responsibilities encompass a range of activities such as product design and development, managing product portfolios, designing B2B/B2C/B2B2C service models, planning healthcare networks, implementing strategic quality management, evaluating the digital health needs of clients, managing healthcare operations, and commissioning healthcare facilities. Concurrently, I am enrolled in the Executive Management Development Program in Healthcare Management and Analytics at IIM, Kozhikode.

  2. What’s the best part of your profession? What made you choose this profession?

During my childhood, I developed a strong interest and was captivated by technology. It inspired me to pursue a career in engineering. However, when I grew up, I realized that the most advanced technology resides within us - the ultimate hardware (body) and the software (mind) - and I was compelled to explore this scientifically in order to make a positive impact on society. After graduating in 2012, I practiced dentistry for nearly four years and found the most rewarding aspect to be the joy on my patients' faces, regardless of the treatment or counseling I provided. It outweighed any monetary gain to help alleviate their pain and suffering. Eventually, I transitioned into the corporate sector as I felt intellectually isolated and was not utilizing my overall skills to their full potential. The best part of the corporate healthcare field is that it has provided me with a broader perspective on the national and international healthcare industry, while also presenting a wealth of exciting opportunities than I could ever have imagined.

  3. Do you like reading? What was the last thing you read?

Reading is not a preferred method of mine for acquiring information or knowledge. I tend to learn best through other forms of media and communication.

  4. What is your favorite dish?

I would say Pani Puri as it is a unique sensory experience by itself.

  5. How would your friend describe you?
My closest companions refer to me as "yaaro ka yaar," someone who is always available to lend a helping hand. Additionally, they have bestowed upon me the nickname of "scientist” due to my tendency to delve deeper into conversations, a result of my inquisitive nature. They also describe me as an "extroverted introvert" as I tend and prefer to keep to myself unless I am around individuals with whom I can have meaningful conversations rather than just small talk. I have also been referred to as a "free spirit" with a firm sense of decision-making and ambitious, larger-than-life goals.

  6. Who would you like to travel with?

    With family, friend(s) and colleagues

  7. What is your least favourite subject?

In terms of dentistry, my least favorite subject was PCD, i.e. preventive and community dentistry, and in my personal life, I generally stay away from politics.

  8. Your favourite subject(s)?

Regarding dentistry, I had a strong inclination towards oral and maxillofacial surgeries, which I believed to be the most exciting aspect of dentistry, and on a personal level, I have a keen interest in topics related to AI (Artificial Intelligence).

  9. What’s something you wish to change about the world?

I wish I can vaccinate everyone with a dose of love and compassion so that there are no viruses of hatred, jealousy and anger.
