  1. What do you do?

I am an Assistant Professor in surgical oncology, working as a head in the Head and Neck unit.

  2. What’s the best part of your profession? What made you choose this profession?

The best part of being a doctor is the fact that you can make a difference in someone's life. You can save lives as a part of your profession. As for oncology, the best part about it is that you get to provide hope for those patients who have lost all hope. Patients often come to us, thinking they don't have any chance of survival, and they get those extra years of life because of our efforts. The most satisfying aspect is to see patients on ten-year or fifteen years follow up.
