In Indore, Madhya Pradesh, two tragic incidents involving fatal heart attacks occurred on Sunday, triggering police investigations and autopsy examinations. Authorities believe both victims experienced silent heart attacks, underscoring the urgent need for greater awareness about cardiovascular health.

The first incident involved 28-year-old Sandeep Chauhan, a BEd student who passed away after suffering a heart attack while on his way to visit a friend near Khandwa Naka. Sandeep's condition deteriorated rapidly. After being taken to the hospital, he was declared deceased. Sandeep, a citizen of Barwani, was residing at 15 Battalion in Indore with a relative. His friends and family are in shock and grief over his unexpected passing.

Sandeep's brother, Sohan, shared that Sandeep was not only a dedicated student pursuing his B.Ed degree but was also preparing for civil services. Their father, a forest ranger, along with Sohan, is now fighting with the loss of his son, who had a bright future ahead.

The second incident involved 42-year-old Dharmendra Kayak, a city bus driver who suffered a fatal heart attack while on duty. Dharmendra, a resident of the Banganga area, had been operating the bus until 1 p.m. when he began experiencing chest pain. Despite trying to continue his duties, his condition worsened, leading him to depart at the AICTSL depot. Dharmendra suddenly collapsed and was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Dharmendra's brother, Ravi, expressed shock and grief over the sudden loss of his sibling. He highlighted the unpredictable nature of heart attacks and the devastating impact they have on families.

Dr. Manish Porwal, a cardiac surgeon, commented on the rising incidence of heart attacks, attributing this trend to modern lifestyle changes. He pointed out that the consumption of junk food, lack of adequate sleep, and sedentary habits are major contributing factors. Dr. Porwal emphasized the need for regular exercise, healthy eating, and stress management to combat the growing prevalence of cardiovascular diseases.
