Delhi-based Dentist Dr. Ruchika said that she was "boycotting" Uber as she met with an accident by her cab driver's unsafe driving. While describing an incident she claimed that she met with an accident after her car driver took a rash U-turn without showing an indicator. She felt so disappointed with the Uber India services and their lack of concern about hiring such inexperienced drivers.

Ruchika shared a series of posts on the X platform sharing her terrible experience of a car accident on April 28. She had booked a cab on Uber to travel from her home to a nearby metro station when the accident occurred.

"He didn't even try to see back on the mirror to check if there is any vehicle coming" she added.

The driver's reckless behavior caused severe injury to Ruchika. "I am deeply hurt. I am full bed rest for 5 days, with heavy medication. Tetanus injection. Torn muscle. Who is to be blamed here?" she asked.

She further expressed her disappointment over the losses she experienced after an accident, she also shared an image of her wounded picture on X. "All the major bills that I have to pay. All the trauma I have to go through. All the loss, from not being able to go to office to missing my classes for my higher studies. How will I overcome that ?" she wrote in her post.

In the end, Ruchika questioned by mentioning Uber services, "Who is coming to save not 'me', but all of the passengers traveling with drivers who don't have any prior experience?"

The post also got a reply from Uber and they said, "This sounds rather frightening and we hope you and the driver are safe, Ruchika. Please share the registered contact details from which this trip was booked via DM. Our safety team will be in touch with you shortly."

The post went viral and people shared their concern towards Ruchika and disappointment towards Uber's mismanagement. The post also got a reply from Uber and they said, "This sounds rather frightening and we hope you and the driver are safe, Ruchika. Please share the registered contact details from which this trip was booked via DM. Our safety team will be in touch with you shortly."

However, Ruchika also replied to Uber's post and requested, "It is a humble and gentle request to verify drivers before they move to the ground."
