A doctor's negligence costs the life of a newborn. An infant died at the Keshav Clinic in Etawah. The family alleges that the doctor left scissors inside the infant's body, which led to the death of the newborn.

The parents of the newborn were Pooja and Shiv Singh; they are the locals of Sarai Mitthe. On Sunday, Pooja was admitted to the Keshav Clinic in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, due to labor pain. For the operation, the doctor urged Rs. 50,000. Of which Rs. 30,000 was deposited. On Monday, the operation was performed, and the newborn baby was announced dead by the doctor.

The family members of the baby, while taking the body for burial, found out that the baby was still alive and breathing. They took the baby back to the hospital, but after some time, the baby died. The family carried the baby’s body to the police station and filed a complaint. The family members of the baby alleged that the doctor who operated left scissors inside the baby's body, which led to the death of the newborn. Based on the complaint, the investigation has started.

In an unrelated but very curious incident in Haryana, Darshan Brar Singh, an 80-year-old man from Karnal, proclaimed dead by the Patiala hospital, was found alive. Darshan Brar Singh was admitted to a private hospital near Karnal due to his age-related problems. His health worsened, and he was put on a ventilator for four days. The doctors confirmed his death after his heartbeat halted.

After the information was reached, the family started preparing for the last rites. The body of Darshan Brad Singh was taken to his home near Karnal from Patiala by an ambulance, accompanied by his grandson Balwan Singh. While traveling, the ambulance hit a pothole near Dhand Village in Haryana’s Kaithal. Balwan Singh witnessed a movement in his grandfather’s hand, and when he checked on him, he sensed a faint heartbeat. He took quick action and exhorted the ambulance driver to drive to the nearest hospital. At the hospital, the doctors confirmed Darshan Singh was alive.
