
Rebecca Wylie Simms, renowned as the co-founder of Lady & Larder, a cheese boutique in California died due to surgical complications. Sarah Simms Hendrix, Rebecca's twin sister shared the news of her demise through an Instagram post made on Sunday, January 19.
Sarah announced the devastating news addressing the whole community of Lady & Ladder with the statement:
It is with profound sadness that I share the devastating loss of my twin sister and co-founder, Boo Simms, who passed away this week due to a tragic surgery complication.
She also announced that Lady & Larder will temporarily close its store in Carmel Valley location as a gesture of respect towards her sister.
The statement concluded with Sarah articulating her gratitude towards everyone for the immense support and care the family received. “Your continued support means more than words could ever say,” Sarah ended her statement saying, “Thank you, from the depths of my being, for standing with us during this unimaginable time.”
The exact reason of death is yet to be revealed.
Friends and supporters rushed to share their love and condolences for their beloved Boo. Many fans quoted how kind and radiant Rebecca was and how much they loved to know her. Countless individuals including celebrities like Busy Philipps and Mark Duplass mourned along with her family.
