In light of recent events, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination has been replaced by the National Exit Test (NExT). The NExT exam combines the requirements of clearing the final year and securing a seat for post-graduation. Many students have revolted against this change, while others are in favor of it. In my opinion, the government is trying to make the medical curriculum according to the Western countries which can be beneficial in the long run however the sudden announcement of this exam can take toll on the mental health of students.
