A one-year-old girl from Anupanadi, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, was saved after doctors at the Government Rajaji Hospital (GRH) successfully removed a pin lodged in her left bronchus. The child, the daughter of an air conditioning mechanic, had been experiencing a persistent cough and fever for over a week. Despite her parents' insistence that she hadn’t swallowed any foreign objects, detailed X-ray and CT scans revealed a pin-like object obstructing her airway.
