Tyler Blevins, popularly known as Ninja and the reigning sensation of Twitch streaming, has shocked the gaming community with the revelation of his recent diagnosis of skin cancer. The 32-year-old gaming icon disclosed the news on X, formerly known as Twitter, urging his followers to prioritize regular health checkups.

Ninja's journey with cancer began when his wife, Jessica Blevins, scheduled an annual dermatologist appointment for him. During the routine checkup, a mole on the bottom of his foot raised concerns and was promptly removed. Subsequent tests confirmed the presence of melanoma, a form of skin cancer. Taking swift action, doctors biopsied another dark spot nearby and removed a larger area surrounding the melanoma in hopes of early detection and treatment.

It came back as melanoma, but they are optimistic that we caught it in the early stages. I had another dark spot appear near it, so today they biopsied that and removed a larger area around the melanoma with the hopes that under the microscope they will see clear non-melanoma edges and we will know we got it.
