In Rajkot, the group took treatment from doctors for a few months and then extorted money by accusing them of negligence and the medicine's side effects. The Morbi police discovered a sinister modus operandi. A 25-year-old serial offender devised a malevolent plan that involved hiring a gang of criminals to rob an Ayurvedic doctor based in Ahmedabad. Fortunately, the Wankaner police had an eye on the gang leader, Ravirajsinh Jadeja, because of which he and his Maharashtra-based gang were arrested on Thursday.

Jadeja visited Dr. Bharatsinh Rajput for the treatment of some diseases in Ahmedabad a few months ago. He visited the clinic again and got into a fight, saying the medicines caused him severe side effects. However, as the police came, Jadeja apologized to the doctor, as he was afraid he might get arrested for demanding money from the doctor.

Due to the grudge against the doctor, Jadeja decided to rob the doctor and gather information, and Jadega got to know that the doctor owns one more clinic in Wankaner town, where he has more patients compared to Ahmedabad. He then built a gang with the help of Vishal Maratha and Siddharth, alias Rohit Sable.

The gang started keeping an eye on the doctor's daily routine and his travel time. The Morbi local crime branch and the Wankaner city police got an alert about the looting that was taking place in Rajkot, Morbi, and Jamnagar. On Thursday, around 1:30 a.m., police stopped two cars on Wankaner Rajkot Road, in which four people were traveling.

Dharmishta Kanani, sub-inspector at Wankaner police station, said that they found different weapons, such as cartridges, knives, and iron pipes; this led to questioning them, and Jadeja and his gang were arrested.

The police, after an investigation, said that the gang planned to rob Dr. Rajput. They also asked Jadeja how he got in contact with the Maharashtrian gang, and they got to know that Jadeja had been in contact with the gang for a while and also had done crime with them. A criminal background check was asked by Morbi police to the Maharashtrian police.
