Bright and driven Saksham Pruthi, 24, had just earned his BTech and was employed by a reputable Gurugram-based company. He kept up a healthy lifestyle by frequently visiting the adjacent Gymplex Fitness Zone in Sector 15 while residing in Rohini Sector 19.
Saksham was going about his daily practice of jogging on the treadmill to start his day at approximately 7:30 a.m. as the gym began filling with health enthusiasts. He was unaware that the very device designed to promote health contained peril. Saksham unexpectedly collapsed while jogging on the treadmill, which was a terrible turn of events. He was quickly helped by gym members and staff, but it was too late. Immediately, paramedics were on the scene for life-saving measures, however, they were unsuccessful.
A horrific truth was discovered during the police's subsequent investigation. It was determined after the postmortem assessment that Saksham Pruthi had died from electrocution while using the treadmill. Following Saksham's avoidable death, the public's outrage increased and justice was demanded. After conducting a comprehensive investigation, the police found proof of Gymplex Fitness Zone's outrageous carelessness. Anubhav Duggal, the gym manager, was detained because he was directly responsible for ensuring the gym equipment was safe and operating properly.
