The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has opened the online application process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET-MDS) 2025 from February 18, 2025. Interested applicants can log in to the official NBEMS website to obtain detailed information about eligibility criteria, fee structure, examination scheme, and other necessary details.

Application Timeline and Process
The window for NEET-MDS 2025 application opened on February 18, 2025, at 3:00 PM and closes on March 10, 2025, at 11:55 PM. Candidates are advised to apply early before the closing date to escape any technical snags at the last moment. Once submitted, the first edit window will remain open from March 14 to March 17, 2025, to enable candidates to edit errors in their forms. Besides, a last edit window, that is, for correcting deficient or wrong images, will be available from March 27 to March 31, 2025.

Examination Fee
The examination fee is different according to category:


General, OBC, and EWS categories: ₹3,500
SC, ST, and PWD categories: ₹2,500
The candidates are required to make timely payment within the given application period.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for NEET-MDS 2025, candidates need to fulfill the following criteria:

Educational Qualification: Should have a valid Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from an institute or university in India.
Registration: Should be registered with the State Dental Council and have either provisional or permanent registration.
Internship: Should have undergone one year compulsory rotatory internship in a recognised or approved dental college.


Applicants who are in the process of finishing their 12-month mandatory internship and are likely to complete by March 31, 2025, are also eligible to apply.

Examination Details

It will be a computer-based test (CBT) held at different centres all over the country. The single-window exam is the admission test for MDS courses throughout India. As a facilitator for candidates getting accustomed to the CBT system, a demo test will be provided on the NBEMS website from April 9, 2025.

Admit Cards and Results
The NEET-MDS 2025 admit cards will be released on April 15, 2025. The candidates have to download and take a printout of their admit cards from the official website since it is an essential document for admission to the examination hall. The NEET-MDS 2025 results are likely to be declared on May 19, 2025.
