Poor nations have a tough time dealing with Tuberculosis amidst the covid pandemic. Over 1.5 million lives have been lost in South Africa alone owing to tuberculosis.

African nations are struggling with Tuberculosis. The COVID pandemic meant that lesser people got screened and tested for Tuberculosis. Many lives which could have been saved were lost to TB in the last 2 years.
