Panchkula, January 14, 2026: A government doctor was arrested on Sunday, January 11, 2026, for allegedly impersonating a senior official in the Health Department and conspiring with his wife to file a false rape complaint against a Gurgaon property dealer. The doctor was involved in an extortion scheme demanding around ₹16 lakh from the property dealer.

The accused, Krishna Kumar Jaildar, 42, a resident of Manwas village in Nuh district, was arrested by Gurgaon's Sector-50 police station in Panchkula. He had previously served at state government hospitals in Panchkula and Gurgaon before being suspended one and a half years ago on charges of dereliction of duty.

The Extortion Scheme

The property dealer first met the accused in 2023 through an associate named Tinu, who lives in Garhi Harsaru. Tinu stayed at the businessman's office during his father's medical treatment. The accused, using the name "KK" (representing Dr. Krishna Kumar), began visiting frequently and borrowed money under various pretexts, including claims of a seized bank account and vehicle servicing, amounting to almost ₹5–6 lakh, which he later refused to repay.

The accused falsely claimed to be a deputy director in the Health Department with high-level connections and also threatened to implicate the victim in false rape cases. When the businessman demanded repayment, Jaildar continued to threaten him and allegedly warned that he knew several women who could file false rape complaints.

In August 2023, a woman visited the victim's office demanding money and issuing threats, which the victim recorded on video. The same woman later submitted a rape complaint via email but failed to appear when summoned.

On October 24, 2025, the same woman, accompanied by the accused, filed a written rape complaint against the businessman and his friend at the Women Police Station. Jaildar initially demanded ₹7 lakh to withdraw the complaint but later increased the amount to ₹16 lakh, refusing payment through a bank account, this was notified to the property dealer via Tinu.

Confession and Legal Action

During questioning, Jaildar admitted to being a suspended MBBS doctor and confessed to conspiring with his wife to file the false rape complaint in order to avoid repaying borrowed money and extort additional funds from the victim.

The accused was produced in court on Monday and remanded to two days of police custody. Police are searching for his wife and investigating to identify other individuals involved in the conspiracy.

Gurgaon Police emphasized that the misuse of laws through false complaints wastes police resources and hampers justice for genuine victims. They reiterated their commitment to taking strict action against those who abuse the legal system for personal gain.
