Police in West Virginia have accused Dr. Jeremy Michael Crow, a dentist, with several charges of invasion of privacy after they claim they found a hidden camera in one of his employees' bathrooms.

According to the Weirton Police Department, the investigation got underway in May after a worker in the staff bathroom discovered a camera hidden inside a water bottle.

Since then, at least ten female colleagues have come forward to say they saw the gadget as well. According to an AP story, Police Chief Charlie Kush verified that no cameras were discovered in the public bathroom of the office.

The 45-year-old Washington, Pennsylvania resident Dr. Crow turned himself in to the Weirton Police Department on Monday.

According to an AP report, he was brought to trial and freed on a $20,000 bond after being charged with 39 misdemeanor charges of criminal invasion of privacy.

Robert McCoid, Crow's attorney, expressed confidence in Crow's acquittal and said, "We are eager to test the prosecution's evidence in the courtroom and look forward to his acquittal before a jury of his peers." He also claimed that they thought the government's evidence was weak.

According to the AP, Crow plans to carry on practicing dentistry in spite of the accusations. About 35 miles to the west of Pittsburgh is where Weirton is situated.
