Dentist Booked For Raising False Bomb Threat at Noida Hospital

Dentists have usually known for rightly alarming patients about their teeth complications. However, it was the opposite in this case. A dentist was arrested for falsely alarming the police about a bomb threat at a district hospital on March 19.

The police emergency helpline received a call alerting about a bomb being located at a district hospital in Sector 30. The information was delivered to the local police, and they reached the hospital for checking.

However, after a thorough investigation, it was noted that the information was fake. An FIR was lodged against the female dentist on the grounds of spreading a rumor and misusing police service.

An FIR was lodged under the Indian Penal Section 177. She has been booked but not arrested.

The Dentist is Mentally Challenged

The dentist was traced based on the details from her call. The 53-year-old female dentist lives in an apartment with her mother and sister. It was found that she was undergoing rehabilitation for mental illness.
